Things are crazy for me at work – my to-do list is insane. But polish really helps me relax so I thought I’d take a quick breather from my deadlines to show you Zoya’s Pixie Dust Summer 2013 Collection. These swatches have been waiting to be posted and I don’t want them to wait a minute longer.
This is the second batch of Zoya’s Pixie Dust and just like the previous releases, all these shades are matte, sugary and sparkly. They are meant to be worn without a base coat and a top coat.
They’re really pretty.
This is Solange, described by Zoya as “gold metal sparkle.”
It’s a pretty yellow gold. Golds are pretty tricky for me but I thought this was flattering.
This is one of my favorites from this collection.
The formula was nice and application was easy.
I used two coats.
This is Beatrix, described as “tangerine metal sparkle.”
This orange has a gold flash.
It totally reminds me of goldfish.
The formula was nice too.
I used two coats.
Destiny is described as “coral metal sparkle.”
This reddish coral has pretty gold sparkle too.
Lovely formula.
I used three thin coats.
This is Stevie, describes as “violet sparkle.”
This is also one of my favorites from this collection.
This pretty lavender shade has silver sparkle.
Formula was nice, like all the colors in this collection.
I used two coats.
This is Liberty, described simply as “blue sparkle.”
This is an intense shade of blue.
Although I’m not really a big fan of this shade of blue, I have a soft spot for this polish because it shares the name of my beloved RBL color.
Formula was nice but let me warn you – this shade can be a pain to remove because it stains.
I used three coats.
This is Miranda, described as “rose sparkle.”
This pink shade has silver glitter too.
When you say Miranda, I automatically think Miranda Hobbes from Sex and the City but this just doesn’t seem like a color she would wear.
Nice formula.
I used three coats.
